Jeffrey Stoneberg, DO

Jeffrey Stoneberg has come to San Diego from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In May 1995 he received his BS degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University  in University Park, Pennsylvania. The following year he was in a post-baccalaureate Premedical Program at Pennsylvania State University. He received his DO degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine  in Philadelphia in May 2001. He completed an internship in Osteopathic Rotation Internship/Internal Medicine Tracking in Delaware County Memorial Hospital  in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania in July 2002. He completed his internal medicine residency at Crozer-Chester Medical Center  in Upland, Pennsylvania. Jeff has been a recipient of Rowland Memorial Scholarship.

Dr. Stoneberg completed a hospice and palliative care fellowship at San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine in 2005 and remained in San Diego to work as part of the medical staff. After 4 years of providing care to patients in home hospice and the Inpatient Care Center, he now runs the Inpatient Palliative Medicine Consultative Services at Scripps Mercy Hospital, as well as retaining his hospice responsibilities.
