Dr. Mohammad Bushnaq
helped launch Jordan’s new Palliative Care Society, an organization dedicated to providing medical, psychological and social care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, and will serve as its first President. During the launch, Bushnaq also unveiled his new Arabic-language book on pain management.


Dr. Khanh Quach
was appointed Vice-Director of the new Palliative Care Department in the Ho Chi Minh City Cancer Center in Vietnam. This new department will ensure patients who have end-stage cancer receive comprehensive palliative care.


Dr. Urska Lunder
, from Slovenia, has recently published a new book reflecting on her experience working in the field of palliative care. Notably, a section of her book highlights her work with The Institute for Palliative Medicine.
