Liane Fry, MA, LMFT is the Program Manager at The Center for Grief Care and Education at San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine. In her role she:
- Ensures that the assessment, treatment planning, support and counseling needs of San Diego Hospice families and bereaved community members are met.
- Oversees and manages all operational aspects of The Center for Grief Care and Education’s programs including Camp Erin, Grief Ink, Grief Street: A Family Bereavement Program, and on-going research projects.
- Provides clinical supervision, training, mentoring, and support to Counselors and Counseling Interns. Provides support and direction for counseling staff in problem solving and crisis management. Functions as an expert practitioner and clinical resource.
- Develops, implements, and presents various community education and professional programs relating to grief and loss, including professional training on theory and techniques. These speaking engagements may take place at San Diego Hospice, in the community, colleges, or at professional conferences.
Liane Fry received her Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in 2000 and is a licensed marriage and family therapist, MFC 42570. She anticipates being an AAMFT certified supervisor as of April 2010.
