Roslyn Allina, LCSW

Rosalyn (Roz) Allina is currently a Social Work Supervisor for the San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine (SDHIPM). Rosalyn supervises social workers desiring to be licensed in this agency as well as those interns working towards their Master’s degree who are completing educational studies at San Diego State University, University of Southern California, Loma Linda University, and California State Long Beach. She is a preceptor for new employees and teaches classes on Palliative Care Concepts.   Rosalyn has 8 years of hospice experience and is completing her third year of employment at San Diego Hospice and Palliative Care.   She holds a certification in the National Jewish Hospice Organization.

Rosalyn received her Bachelors in Social Work from San Diego State University in 1990.  She then completed her Masters in Social Work in 1992 from San Diego State University School of Social Work with an emphasis on aging and clinical concentrations.  In 1999 Rosalyn achieved her social works license for the Board of Behavioral Science in California.
