Sarah Livermore, RN, MSN, FNP

Sarah Livermore, RN, MSN, FNP, ACHPN is a nurse practitioner at San Diego Hospice and the Institute for Palliative Medicine (SDHIPM). She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner as well as an Advanced Practice Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. She works closely with the interdisciplinary teams to provide care to home hospice patients. She also teaches at The Institute for Palliative Medicine.

Sarah has a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Arizona, and a Masters of Science from SFSU.  She previously worked in critical care, family practice and cardiology.  Her research interests include caregiver burden, quality of life and suffering.  She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of San Diego.
