Marcella and Matt Johnson created the Comfort Cub Program in an effort to reach out to those who have experienced the loss of a child. This specialty teddy bear is intended to feel like holding a newborn. Each cub has a personal letter from Marcella attached to the ribbon around the cub’s neck. A generous donor has made it possible to send a Comfort Cub to residents of San Diego County free of charge. If this applies, please call the Comfort Cub hotline at 619-278-1500 ext. 6067.
